Aqua Oceanfront Hotel Resort

If you’re on the fence about Aqua, don’t think about it anymore and just book it! This place is absolutely awesome and exceeded all our expectations. Extremely relaxing, incredible beach, very secluded, away from it all. If you can, book a room with your own pool, it is absolutely stunning and worth it. The only downside I’d highlight is that if you have mobility issues, the stairs to get down to the beach can be quite tricky and are the only option. If you can walk, then you’ll love Aqua!!

More rustic than luxury. I have stayed in similar resorts in Nicaragua and had a better experience. You had to climb stairs to get anywhere in the resort Which was a pain and unexpected. the mini plunge pools where small and the water looked dirty. The front desk staff and our bellboy where friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the staff at the kitchen did not share the same level of service even though there was only a handful of people. we kept having to flag the waiter for drinks and food status. The overall experience was mixed some of the food was well cooked while others had to be returned. The rooms were ok, except we had bugs everywhere even on the bed. We were supposed to stay two nights but only stayed for one. The shower was cool but the bedsheets were dated and the mattress had a tear. The beach was beautiful and made it worth it. I would recommend for one or two nights top just for the experience of the beach.

The staff was really helpful and overall really attentive! The hotel was very different and nice! The ambiance of the place was really good! And the scenery was amazing

What i liked was the nayure side the trees it was hidden in the forrest sharing the ocean side , what i did not like was the lart of the staff , the wifi went front desk send md the wrong password , toilet paper went out ,took a while to get some , i tried to ask for the wifi at the bar they told me there was no wifi i guess frequent people that stay at the hotel arrived that night they ask for the wifi they got it right away the day we were leaving we woke up early our water was shut off couldn't even brush my teeth or wash my face and use the restroom. I tried to schedule a horse back ride couldn't do it the guy in charge of the horses was out of town tried to get a 60 minute massage couldn't because there was only one person given massage .
