Overall it was a good stay, there is some work needed inside rooms, doors are not sealed so you get spiders inside the room. Tables at the restaurant are cleaned by glade(odor) instead of alcohol or disinfectant.

This property was the highlight of my trip to Nicaragua. Beautiful property with a picturesque landscape and excellent hospitality given by the staff members(chefs, spa therapist, helpers, staff at the reception). I planned to spend 1 night but ended up spending 2 nights. Peaceful & Serene. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Incredible spot, lots of stairs yes, but way worth it for the private beach.

You will have two experiences in one on Aqua, houses around the mountain and the forest, and the beach when you walk down. It is an incredible experience, staff is really kind, beach is not that far from walking distances and you have a bar in there. Thanks for the hospitality.

My time at Aqua Wellness Resort, was fantastically blissful. I went for my honeymoon. I didn't tell my wife where we were going and just let the surprise unfold. She was BLOWN AWAY. When we landed at the airport, the driver they sent was waiting with my name on a sign. He was very friendly and helpful and let us stop at the grocery store on the way there. It was a very, very nice and clean grocery store that outdid many American grocery stores I've been to. When we arrived, we were greeted by Johnny who was super helpful and gave me his WhatsApp number. My entire time there he was prompt and reliable to answer any questions or help me with anything I needed. He even went above and beyond to make the trip extra special for my wife and I. Moreover, every staff member was friendly and helpful and willing to do anything to assist (even if it wasn't their job). We had the Sapote LS suite and it was world-class. A small, private, infinite pool overlooking the ocean, a rustic wooden shower area, decent bed and couch, and a patio. Good air-conditioning as well. It also came with a detached kitchen with materials to cook most things. No microwave though. My wife made multiple excellent meals with the materials they had The beach was clean and the hotel maintains a small beach bar for drinks and food. This trip was everything I'd dreamed it would be and made a lifetime memory for my wife and I. We felt fully safe and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful place, the food was great but what made it better was they would make us a special meal if we requested it. Our room was amazing and had such a great view. It felt very safe here, a staff member picked us up from the airport and when we did an excursion we always had someone with us to make sure things ran smoothly. On our excursions with Rudolfo he did a great job ensuring we saw things we didn’t know existed, was knowledagle about the countries history as well and using his local connections to set up an amazing experience that felt unique and safe. The walk from the resort to el Gigante isn’t bad and there are quite a few places to explore on foot. You have to ask for the things you want though, sometimes several times. Maid service costs extra but I noticed it was waived at the end of the trip, I would recommend bringing extra towels or asking for some when you arrive as well as soap/shampoo as the ones in the room are small. If you go on an excursion or coming from the airport, if you are heading back early enough I would request a stop at the grocery store and get yourself snacks/fruit etc. Overall I would definitely go back even after spending 10 days there, I didn’t want to leave.

This is an amazing place that is so beautifully in tune with nature and the staff all go above and beyond to make your stay perfect
