Guilinyi Royal Palace

Hotel was great. Location was in a park which taxis frequently refused to drive in. They stop at gate and you have to ask for a golf cart to pick you up. Terrible at night as sometimes, no one was there and you had to walk in pitch black to get to the hotel. The walk is about 5 minutes or so but it sucks in dark and or rain. Otherwise, the room and breakfast was pretty awesome.

I was requested for two single beds, but we did not get it at all. poor in English communication..

The Guilinyi Royal Palace Hotel was an exceptional experience. Nothing negative to say. Everyone was very helpful. The Hotel is located in the botanical garden and we found its location amazing. Very tranquil. They play traditional chinese music at night. The tea house was exceptionally relaxing. Best experience in hotel I have had to date.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Set in the Botanic Gardens, the ponds and gardens within the grounds are superb. The sopunds of bitrds in the morning and frogs in the evening was a welcome change from the big cities. When asked if you want a taxi to down town - say yes because it is not a pleasant or easy walk once you are outside the garden walls.

In the heart of the National Park it's like you're in paradise. We spent a lot of time just walking around the park it was so entertaining. Great for children! It's a quick ride into town but far away enough to be peaceful at night. So serene! We loved it here. Room service was a bit difficult to communicate but we managed and enjoyed the food. The rooms were wonderful and very clean. I would recommend a tour company called CITS (Dave and Jerry), they were amazingly helpful and honest and reliable. They organized all our tours and shows and everything went so smoothly from pick-up to drop-off.
