Old WesleyDale Heritage Accommodation

The property is awesome, accomodation is part of an historic farming property and house with an amazing huge garden. The breakfast provisions were plentiful and delicious. The host was friendly and helpful

The accommodation at Old WesleyDale was charming. We fell in love with the beautiful garden and the wonderful history of the house and surrounds. The breakfast provisions left were substantial and more than met our needs. Our host shared her local knowledge about possible activities to enhance our stay. Highly recommended!

If you have an aerial attached to the roof of your vehicle you might want to remove it before parking in the guest car park as the low roof may damage your aerial. .

A wonderful experience staying in this historical accommodation. Very comfortable and inviting, with some lovely personal touches. Would highly recommend.

EVERYTHING. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This was the best part of our entire trip. We had the pleasure of having our elopement ceremony here. The host was so welcoming. We were greeted with a loaf of homemade bread. She was kind of enough to assist us with being a witness. The property was breathtaking. Just like the photos. Every turn you made on the property was more beauty. We had some many great photos because of this property. I’m glad I stumbled across this amazing hidden gem.

A bit run down, not as clean as we were expecting, very cold.

The property, with its gardens and old history, is just unique. The location close to many attractions in the area makes it a great choice. The hosts were super nice and made us feel at home. The cottage itself is very cozy, with everything needed to stay for days. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in the area one day.

It can get a bit cold at night, but the house has all the necessary equipment to keep you warm, so it's not really a negative thing. Also, it's imperative to keep the door closed because many insects are around.

This was the most relaxing place I stayed at while visiting Tassie. The room is warm and comfortable, I felt right at home. I loved the fireplace and the kitchen where you can cook just as you would if you were at home. It was quiet and the gardens were lovely. I will definitely be back!!
