Old WesleyDale Heritage Accommodation

We had 4 nights here and it was perfect. Beautiful location so close to many small towns and beautiful scenery. The gardens were gorgeous and it was lovely sitting under the oak tree in the afternoon watching the plovers and admiring the mountains in the distance. Also loved Chicken the cat and Chops the dog.

Amazing gardens, quiet, home away from home.

Lovely accomodation linked to a heritage house. The renovated stone cottage tastefully decorated adding to the enjoyment of the stay. The log fire most welcome on a cold day.

Quiet and peaceful, well appointed

This is a beautiful location, the history of the buildings is palpable. Even in winter the gardens were superb, quite magical really and I took some lovely photos. The sky turned blue for our departure so we were able to see the Western Tiers formerly shrouded by clouds. We spent time in Deloraine and enjoyed the coffee and pastries at Frank and Lotti's and rummaging at Found in Earth, a delightful florist/gift shop and espresso bar. The wood stove was a highlight and added atmosphere and charm to an already very cosy space. Good bed and shower.
