The location and size of bedroom

The plumbing needs drastic action..so slow in draining..temprimental hot water in shower etv

Lovely and quiet. Close enough for a stroll into Thornbury too.

Bed was a little bit hard and why do hotels push two beds together for a “double” when if the couple actually like each they sleep cuddling and one of them (me) gets to sleep on the join. It’s too painful.

A nice modern room in a quiet location. Obviously perfect for golf but also great as a base for cycling in the area. Good food options in the club house.

Given that everything else in the room was really nice, the shower could be upgraded so as not to let the side down (shower head wobbly and hard to get a stable temperature)

Good choices for breakfast, good quality bacon & bread for my bacon sandwich. Friendly staff behind bar for checking in & on breakfast duty. Comfortable king size bed in the Lodge, huge bedroom, tea & coffee available in room. Tv. Nice a clean room.

Very cold in bedroom although must be a known issue (original signal glazed windows) as a handy plug in radiator took some of the chill off. Central heating off. En-suite adequate, but could do with a refresh on grouting, and def change blind as not very private given bathroom window by main entrance to lodge. I wouldn’t shower as no confident you couldn’t see through around edges!

More attention could be paid to cleaning e.g rim round plug hole.

The food and staff were good.

Room 1 there was a constant noise from central heating or air conditioning all night. It was quite noisy so didn't sleep much.
