The Moonraker Hotel

The superior room is quite specious with a big bed. It was warm in the room. Good lightning. The staff at the reception and at the dinner was lovely. Pizza and wine were very good.

It was the worst coffee I have ever had at the breakfast which itself was a huge disappointment. Bread, ham and cheese. That was it. Not even a tomato or cucumber or any ketchup or mayonnaise to make a proper sandwich. There were also some options for sweet breakfast with milk and corn flakes. Fruit salad was a good touch. The mattress needs replacing.

Room is very basic. No tv remote, no fan and no hand towel. Carpet very threadbare and furnishings tired.

The location was good. The main building was clean and pleasant.

We were in a dilapidated out building . Decor was shabby. Water leakage and stains in hall. Shower didn't work. Soap dispensers was virtually empty. Curtains wouldn't shut properly as they were partly hanging off. The price of the stay was far too much considering the state of the accommodation.

This was our second stay at Moonraker hotel. It is a great location with a traditional country house feel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was warm and spacious with a great bathroom, a small lounge area to relax and views over farmland. This is a great place for a quiet and relaxing stay. It was also very good value. We have local family and will be back again

Brought my son with me to stay fantastic room only thing is I couldn't lock the toilet door from outside if you had small bolt at the top of the door on outside so you can lock it As he was in and out of that bathroom non stop trying to run a bath ever 5 minutes worried me may wake before me and attempt it.
