Clean friendly relaxed attentive staff. Super comfy bed. Great food. However, the chef was unexpectedly off 2 days running, so no cooked breakfast. Also the furniture in the room needs a bit of TLC and a bigger mirror on the tea table would look better.

Location, building gardens lovely

Got no offer to help with heavy bag had to struggle with it round to room. Room was not particularly clean hairs in bath and sink. Only soap in difficult dispenser available no shampoo lotions etc… Felt they handed you a key then that was it had a real b and b feel to it. Brief in room said it tries to keep cost low for cost of living crises but don’t find £100 particularly cheap. Expected better for location and price. Hotel next door much nicer won’t be back.

Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent staff, helpful and friendly. Good location.

Some of the communal and outdoor areas were a bit tired, broken paving etc. but this didn’t spoil my stay which was comfortable and overall good.
