The Moonraker Hotel

Very good location for stays in Bath and Bradford-on-Avon.

Stayed one night in a 'premium' room (nos 2) that seemed to have been created out of a small barn - large room with vaulted ceiling and huge double bed on a raised platform - almost a mezzanine. Bed was comfortable but the short flight of stairs to the bed platform could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Bathroom was spacious and very cosy. Extremely quiet at night.

Location was convenient and peaceful

2 days before my arrival I got a call asking if I wanted to book dinner. During this conversation I was advised that no hot breakfast could be offered only continental. So we had to go out for breakfast. Not acceptable, should be clear when booking On arrival at 4pm we asked if we could get a cup of tea in the reception area-and was advised to make one in our rooms and carry it down!! The soap dispenser in the shower was completely empty and the one by the sink almost empty . Completely unacceptable especially once you’re all wet! Mattress very thin on a sprung base so didn’t sleep well. Towel rail was scaldingly hot. Dangerous. No warning signs

Lovely old building

Could hear people above talking and noisy.Had to walk outside to get to the restaurant.

The food is excellent. Congratulations to the chef. The room we had was perfect due to my disability. All the staff we met were very welcoming and efficient

The room which was exceedingly comfortable was a little sad around the edges.
