"Lovely accommodation, highly recommend :)"

Stayed in the room up the infamous spiral staircase! The staircase was absolutely fine, don't know what the other reviewers were so worried about! Was a lovely quiet room on the top floor, v comfortable. They had just had a WiFi booster installed so signal on the top floor was perfect. The owners were v helpful with local walks. Hotel is within walking distance of the lake and also of the station and loads of restaurants, it's the perfect location really. Would definitely stay here again. The only slight downside was that the 02 phone signal was poor, but what a great excuse for a few days of peace and quiet!

"A nice place to stay in Windermere."

A great place to stay. Very nice owners. Room very clean. Full English breakfast is a must. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.
