"Comfortable"

Comfortable, the English breakfast was good and sufficient for me. Parking at the door, WiFi worked well, Windermere town centre not too far away and an easy walk down to Bowness. I was there for the walking, and the owner, who is also a walker, gave me some good directions.

Very nice, clean and quiet accommodation. The owners very welcoming and always ready and open to help. Nice breakfast as well! Definitely recommend!

The guesthouse was in a great location to access everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and made a fab breakfast. We had a king size room with a beautiful bathroom. Highly recommend!

Good location short walk from Windermere restaurants. Nice full breakfast in a cosy breakfast room and friendly owners. Free Parking right outside, free wifi worked well.

"Comfortable, clean, and great location"

The Glencree Guest House is comfortable, clean, and in a great location for those exploring this part of the Lake District without a car. Although located on a busy street, the location becomes quiet in the evening and our sleep was not interrupted by noise.

"Great B&B in a great spot"

This was my second trip to Windermere and Glencree was a perfect spot to spend the night. Right between Windermere and Bowness. My room was at the top of a tiny spiral staircase which was a little tricky with my large bag. I can't remember the last time I slept so well! Very comfortable room. Great breakfast in the morning. Helen and Kim were perfect hosts. Would recommend anytime.
