"Well worth a visit "

Very friendly accommodating owners allowed us to leave our bags in the room and car in the car park as we arrived just after checkout time so rooms not ready. Hearty breakfast next morning and also catered for gluten free. Absolutely loved it

This is a lovely place to stay as it is right in between Windermere town and Bowness-on-Windermere. Ideal for walking to both. Hosts have only recently taken over but are brilliant. The only misgiving i would have is that rooms 4 & 5 are accessed by a wrought iron spiral staircease. I didn't see any reference to this when i booked. It wouldn't be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Overall a nice stay.
