"Superb location"

Fantastic central location for easy access to both Windermere (5min walk) and Bowness (10 min walk). The owners, Ian and Amy, are hospitable and attentive and ensured an overall pleasant experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

"Lovely B&B an easy walk from Windemere and Bowness"

We received a lovely warm welcome. The room was perfect and breakfast was lovely. My request for gluten free was accommodated without issue and I got a delicious full English. Would recommend without hesitation.

Everything was really lovely at Glencree! The hosts were very kind, trying to make our stay most comfortable. They recommended several restaurants nearby and one of them we tried was very nice indeed. Breakfast was prepared to order, and they were very accommodating to our request. They even got gluten-free bread and cereal only for myself! Overall we had a really good time at Glencree. We’d definitely go back when we are back at Windermere. Very highly recommended.

Great stay and gear hosts! Hosts just bought Glencree a couple of weeks before our stay and plan to make upgrades, but great place as it was. Good breakfast, too. Highly recommend this place.

While our room was small for the double and single bed, everything was lovely. Clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Very lovely hosts. Wonderful breakfast. So very happy to have stayed here.

Most pleasant guesthouse so far on our journey.better yet was the individualized breakfast that included fresh, fresh fruit. The owners were extremely welcoming and attention to comfort was their priority! Just lovely.
