The Bell Hotel

Advertised as having free wifi but did not. It was BT Open wifi which is a public one all over the country that you need a paid account to have. Beds very hard, room decor falling apart and a shower that was boiling hot water only and a dribble, and almost falling off the wall.

Liked: Centrally located in the middle of the village. Didn't Like: No WiFi, bed was hard, controls missing from radiator - couldn't turn on the heating, three blown/missing light bulbs.

The hotel is rather tired, the linen and towels were clean,there was shampo conditioner and soap,tea coffe and milk provided. The room we had was on the front and because the windows weren't double glazed there was lots of traffic noise. The carpet could do with a good clean or be replaced. They don't do breakfast but there is a cafe round the corner does a nice one for £7. The food on the manu was very reasonably priced.

The food was great and the cook was very nice and friendly. The room was in fair condition but it was clean. Staff were very nice.

No frills hotel. Was fine for me for an overnight stay. Good value for money. It's far from being the Ritz but it works.

This was new to me but very remote and quiet, everything was simple and the pub was really nice!

Good service, polite staff , No food available, bed mattress badly need replacing, hotel could do with revamp.

The hotel and staff were all very good as was the waitress and food. The only downfall was one very loud gent in the bar area. very loud and used far too much bad language. with three ladies in the food area he should have known better.
