The Bell Hotel

People were friendly and so helpful. The rooms need updating, I went back in time to my Nans bedroom in the 80’s. Toilet flushed and the who pub heard. Didn’t try the food but drinks were reasonable. It was a last minute booking and the price matched what I got.

The place was tatty, the toilet seat was off the WC but just placed to the side. The place needed steam cleaning. It was very disappointing and certainly not worth the charge to stay

Room was very hot but eventually a member of staff arrived to turn the radiator control with a pair of pliers as the knob was nor connected to the radiator, Wifi was great if you wanted facebook but unable to connect to any other site,

This is a lovely older property perfect for a quick visit to Mildenhall. Great pub downstairs and convenient to all kinds of shops and restaurants. Staff was excellent and very helpful. They poured a nice pint too!

Hotel was a bit dated, bit of a 70's era for furniture and decor which was quite charming. Rooms confortable, staff friendly and welcoming, great food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The wall has a hole in it. The radiator was stuck on hot. The mattress was well past its best. The shower had black mould behind the taps. The bedding was clean. The staff friendly.

Hotel manager very accommodating. My son’s flight put back and couldn’t arrive until 2245. Manger came up with a plan to ensure we could get to our rooms.

I had work close by and this was a very convenient and affordable hotel. Staff was very kind and quick to respond to any communication. Parking was safe and location was great to access walking/jogging path for a morning jog along the river. The rooms are not updated but our room was clean and perfect for a shorty stay. For the price it was a great deal and I would definitely stay again.

Welcome was good, as was my dinner. Hotel is old and in need of some attention. My real concern was that the smoke detector in my bedroom was covered over with a plastic bag. I mentioned it to a staff member who I took to be the manager but no one came back to me and no one came to my room to remove it. Additionally the bathroom light didn't work but that is probably insignificant compare to the issue concerning fire safety.
