Phka Villa Hotel Battambang

Excellent service, staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is a nice escape from the heat.

The hotel staff were fantastic and really went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Battambang. The staff were very helpful in setting us with a good Tuktuk driver for our tour around Battambang, were able to recommend good restaurants in town for dinner and even gave us lunch (unexpectedly!) for our bus journey to Phnom Penh following checkout. The hotel is a 5 minute Tuktuk drive to the centre of town and provides a nice, quiet place to relax in the evening with a well maintained pool area. Our rooom was very comfortable with good amenities and an excellent cooling system. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Battambang.

Upon arrival, we didn't think the hotel looked like much aside from the lovely pool & deck chairs, but the room was well decorated with all the little special touches such as flowers on the pillow & in the bathroom, bathrobes and most importantly, THE BEDS WERE SOFT & COMFORTABLE!!! The best think about this hotel is their staff, who were amazing and extremely helpful at every stage of our stay. Upon check out, they even gave us a free take away lunch pack with bottles of water as they knew we were getting on a long bus trip back to Phnom Penh. GREAT HOTEL, RECOMMEND TO ALL.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with our two small children. We loved it, the staff couldn't be nicer and the bungalow rooms are all set around a lovely pool. The breakfasts were good and the meals we purchased were very good. Overall this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

A nice, well run place, with its own pool and an easy walk to the "action" in Battambang..not least the great restaurant La Villa 10 mins walk away. The staff at PHKA VILLA HOTEL went out of their way to make us feel valued guests:-- meeting us at the bus station for free, (I still don't know how they knew which bus we would arrive on and from where as I hadn't told them!) to getting us a tuk-tuk for the next day to do the sights, the bamboo train etc and then arranging a car to drive us to the Thai border and even thought to provide sandwiches and water for the journey.. a truly lovely place.... please stay there, they deserve your support.
