Trapp Family Country Inn

The Inn was incredibly beautiful, an oasis. The dinner was great as well as its value for money. The staff was beyond incredible with communication and customer service (they went above and beyond to create a great experience).

This place is so old spanish colonial style elegance. It's breathtakingly beautiful. The staff was so kind. Linens are great. Bed was pretty comfortable. Lots of extra, and comfortable pillows. Hot water with good pressure. Immaculately clean properly. Gorgeous pool.

Trapp Family Country Lodge in Alajuela is a beautiful oasis in a bustling city, and is conveniently situated near SJO Airport. The property has majestic shade trees, a pool, a garden, a lovely porch for dining, Adirondack chairs for relaxing, rooms with beautiful wooden furniture, open air balconies, and a ceiling fan. With the enormous old shade trees, high ceilings and a ceiling fan, an air conditioner was not necessary. This is not your typical chain hotel found in every city in the world. Trapp Family Country Lodge truly felt like a uniquely Costa Rican experience. The property was very secure, and the staff were super nice. I plan to stay here on future visits!
