Trapp Family Country Inn

Quaint hotel very close to SJO airport. We used as a two night stopover after a long trip to Costa Rica. There are only eight rooms, each having the same layout (VIP upgrade is rendered mute). The meals offered at the restaurant were tasty as well as convenient. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Unless familiar with restrictive plumbing systems in some ares of Costa Rica, visitors might be surprised at requirement to not flush toilet paper (a separate garbage bin is provided). Would stay again.

Very welcoming family operated facility. Good food, quaint location…..quiet when planes are not taking off.

Very close to the airport so it's convenient for that but its just like staying in a high end Napa B &B or one of the many New England mansions I've enjoyed. First night or last night this is the place I'm staying from now on.

Despite getting in past 11 pm, there was someone waiting for who was very helpful and got us into our rooms asap. Quaint, near the airport hotel for those seeking more of a Costs Rican experience.

This hotel is amazing! Beautiful grounds. Lovely dinner with light background music. A total deal for the price. And super friendly staff!

Lovely view from the balcony. Room very clean, the staff was helpful, friendly, professional.

The grounds were beautifully lush and the staff were friendly and helpful. Price was great and so was the breakfast. The location to airport was so close and easy to find. Will stay again.

Nice country inn style

Beds were very comfy! Nice hot shower. Continental breakfast was delicious. The gardens and grounds surrounding hotel are beautiful.
