We enjoyed pretty much everything. Staff ( Rachel) was excellent. I RARELY everassign superlatives with hotel experiences, but this was darn near excellance in all regards.

Amazing Oasis very close to the main airport of San José, Costa Rica. Beautiful garden, excellent dinner and breakfast, calm quiet environment. Spacious room, nice balcony. Good shower. Comfortable large beds and plenty of pillows. Highly recommended staying here.

Really close to the airport but felt like we were in a lovely botanical garden. Super friendly staff who all spoke English. Very helpful and accommodating. Room was lovely. Meals and bar were much appreciated so we never had to leave the property.

This place is only a mile from the airport, yet seems 100 miles away. Beautiful garden oasis with only 8 rooms -- all with a private balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Staff were delightful, and all spoke English. Rooms were large and comfortable. Enjoyed drinks, dinner and breakfast -- all were quite good, typically Tico, and inexpensive. Really enjoyed everything about this place and will return.

I booked this hotel to stay in the night before I left Costa Rica. My flight was early in the morning and I was traveling from another part of the country nearly 3 hours away. Staying at this hotel was one of the best traveling experiences that I've ever had. The hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. I asked the staff where I could find a vending machine for a snack but there weren't any on the premises so the kitchen staff made fresh guacamole and chips for me. Delicious! The environment was so peaceful and relaxing to be so close to an airport. The lush landscaping helped to create that environment. I had a bit of laundry done on the premises (they do it for you for a fee) and the service was quick and professional. Dinner was great! I had white wine, sea bass, steamed veggies, rice, and a warm brownie a la mode. The staff was even courteous enough to have a taxi ready at 3 am to take me to the airport the next morning. I will definitely stay here again or recommend it to others because the service can't be beat.

Host was fantastic in helping us get fed on our late arrival. Pre made sandwiches which were delivered just after checking!

This is a safe and clean hotel in the area and super close to the airport. They were very accommodating for our late arrival to Costa Rica and late departure a week and a half later. I 100% recommend it for a hotel near the airport. FYI - since it's so close, you'll hear the planes. And for the area and price, it's a good find.

A great place to stay near the airport. Nothing to do nearby and would not recommend going out on foot but the property itself and hotel are lovely. We ate there as well for convenience and it was pretty good! The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. We ended up storing our luggage there for a few hours before our flight since it’s only 10 minutes to the San Jose airport, and just got a taxi to the museums. Definitely recommend for a night or two! It’s a lush oasis in a pretty urban setting.

What a great place to arrive in Alajuela, and only 5 minutes from the airport! When we fly in to Costa Rica we want to feel like we have actually arrived and still have all the comforts of home. Not big fans of trying to maintain the american experiece at the "Holiday Inn" or the "Hampton". Amazing grounds and beautiful architecture. The next day we were flying down to golfito with sansa airlines , headed to Pavones and the clerk arranged a taxi to arrive right on time.
