Widemouth Manor Hotel

The location was fantastic, with amazing views over Widemouth Bay. Food in the restaurant was fantastic, as was the breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was great to sit outside with our drinks watching the sunset over the sea. Absolutely stunning.

There was nothing that we didn't like. To improve the rooms, it would be nice to have a fresh coffee instead of instant.

Brilliant location. Plenty of parking available. Sunday carvery was lovely. Reasonably priced food and drink.

Service was poor, felt like a lot of the staff were new. As guests we didn't feel welcomed. We waited 1hr 30mins for our Tuesday night evening meal and then one meal arrived cold so it was returned and taken off the bill, we then shared the two remaining meals between three people. We complained to three members of staff, all apologised but none felt genuine as they claimed to have been "slammed" yet at least half the restaurant was empty. Other guests also complained about the wait and we were all just given the same "sorry, we're just slammed" excuse.

Very comfortable Seaview room. Ate once in the restaurant and it was simply delicious.

Only on one occasion, smokers gathered outside under our bedroom window so it drifted into our room a little bit. Maybe moved that area away from the front.

Wonderful location, with superb view from my room, which had a large balcony overlooking the sea. Delicious breakfasts and a tasty dinner.

Restaurant was very loud, not because of guests being excessively noisy but the sound seemed to echo, was difficult to have a conversation

Room was spacious, we did pay for a deluxe room though. Bed was very comfortable and the furnishings tasteful. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

The location is stunning 😍 and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and service were also very good. We will return for another stay. Make sure you book the breakfast as it is outstanding 👌

We booked room 7 but did not know it was so small. The room is perfectly comfortable and usable we just prefer more space. This will not stop us from returning as everything else is excellent 👌
