Loved the restaurant, bar area and lounge, food was great.great views. Very friendly and helpful staff

We had a small double room. Very comfortable with nice decor. Didn’t like the “wet room” which actually meant the toilet was in the shower cubicle

"Amazing stay!!! Definitely recommend"

10.0

Amazing facilities, with on-site pub, restaurant and lounge bar. Amazing views!! Very well located with a short walk to the Black Rock beach. The staff was absolutely the best!!

The bed felt a bit too small, though it is a double bed.

"Lovely sett, friendly staff but some disappointments."

8.0

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The double bed was extremely comfortable and the shower room was good too. We had a fabulous meal in the evening. The restaurant was lovely with views across the bay. It was the modern part of the hotel.

The old manor part of the hotel, although really interesting and genuine did smell a bit fusty. The beautiful old oak staircase was spoiled by the carpet seemingly in need of a steam clean, which was a shame as it was the part of the hotel one first encountered. The breakfast was very disappointing with the fruit juices being served in fairly small portions.and not a hugely interesting choice. My bacon sandwich was unnteresting, although I can't fault the service. We felt that for £195 for one night in a triple room the breakfast was lacking compared to other less expensive hotels. We had patio doors leading onto it terrace but this was out of action, supposedly unsafe due to heavy rain, but it was the roof of the garden bar, so not sure on that one. They did say it wasn't advertised for that reason. Although I said it met my expectations, this was with reservation.
