Anchor Inn

The Inn was a lovely and restful place to stay. The only minor issue was the low water pressure with the shower. There was a jacuzzi bath - but we did not use this.

Very welcoming and friendly. Clean room, great breakfast. Mattress could do with replacing. Would revisit.

It was lovely to set by the river and enjoy a pint in the evening, Truly magnificent surroundings, and bird watchers could really enjoy themselves. I only wish I'd booked a longer stay so I could have explored the area more. I didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was very good.

I would definitely recommend the Anchor Inn...all staff were really lovely and welcoming. The food was amazing and you can sit outside next to the river which was really nice and relaxing. We would stay here again :-)

The property à pub is well situated for walks Overlooking a Beautiful river. Thé owner told us on arrival that the shower for the room was broken. Very apologetic but nothing could be done as all the 5 rooms were booked. It happened that the temperature went up to27 o on that day so after a 4 hrs car journey that was not

Great location by river, good food, friendly staff made very welcome, comfortable basic room, enjoyable stay!

My room was nothing like the room shown, it was small and dingy , the wardrobe had to pushed up right to be able to shut the door and the shower could do with a deep clean. On the positive side the staff and the food were very good.

Disappointed to have our booking cancelled a couple of days before our trip saying the room wasn’t dog friendly even though we’d specifically requested a dog friendly room through the site as advertised.
