Casa Blanca Guest House

This hotel is located across from the much larger and much more ritzy Casa Del Rio - point your taxi driver from Malacca Sentral to there if they're having trouble finding this place. Facilities are basic - I stayed in a double room with air conditioning, and that's about all that's inside the room. The shared bathroom is small and built in the common Malaysian style - without a separate cubicle for the shower, so expect the bathroom to be wet at any given point in time. The location is wonderful however - right next to the things you've come to see in Malacca - Jonker street, the museums by the quay, and the riverside walk (do it at night, it's quite nice). I am a young man used to staying in hostels and other low-budget accomodation, so my standards might be a little lower than average - but overall I don't think you can go wrong for the price.

Staff is very friendly, provide free filtered water, free tea/coffee, great location.

Great location, cheap

It is easy to go everywhere by walking..Guest house is close to the jonker street and historical places etc. Also,one eating place (horker) is near by Guest house.

Staff affable, clean and spacious areas. We didn't like take off our shoes.

You can walk to everywhere. Staffs were very friendly.

Easy access to Jonker Street.Manager is resourceful and helpful.

When I was staying, it wasn't crowded. Clean room and ver homely stay.

Its awesome. I wil go back again.
