The Desk Staff were just wonderful. Being friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was terrific with a very comfortable bed, plus TV, shower and air con that all worked. The restaurant food was first class but the service not the best. There were long waits for breakfast orders to turn up and also long delays between courses during evening meals. Despite food orders being written down, many customers including us often never got what we actually ordered. Perhaps the Chef could not read the Maitre De's handwriting??? Overall, the location and facilities made our stay comfortable and good value for money. We would happily return again.

The service from check in to breakfast was shocking, wrong beds in the room, very helpful staff and very argumentative , raw eggs for breakfast etc the list goes on I would not stop here again.

I had a pop up bed in the first room, so I asked for a room with a desk to do some work. Then the TV didn’t work and the room wasn’t very warm. Nice rooms as in deco ,restaurant was good but wouldn’t stay again.

The only downside to the hotel is our room was a tad small and also the bath towels could be bigger. The rest was lovely - beautifully decorated, super comfy bed and pleasant staff. We had a quick lunch in the bar which was tasty and reasonably priced, service attentive but not overbearing. The area is ideal if you want out of town - a 10 minute walk to the coast and a bus stop a minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend and return - in fact we wanted to book for May bank holiday but its full!
