Lovely B&B to use when exploring Matlock, within walking distance of the Heights of Abraham

Excellent place to stay, highly recommended. .

Attentive, professional hosts, breakfasts were excellent. Great location for my needs (family visit). Very quiet considering that it's smack-dab in the middle of Matlock and Matlock Bath (and I appreciated the easy parking). Perfect jumping off-spot for the unparalleled Peak District.

The Hotel (Really a B&B) is a stone built converted house with 3 or 4 rooms. It is situated off the main A6 which makes it quiet. Our room was clean and overlooked the Matlock Park at the back, it was large and spacious. The en-suite is but well decorated and there is copious hot water. It could have benefitted from a shower curtain or screen as most people will prefer a shower to a bath, there was also no luggage stand Only a minor addition. Breakfast was very good.

Set ideally central for Matlock and surrounding areas,cedar house was top drawer quality in every respect, from friendly owner with lots of local knowledge to point you in the right direction for sightseeing to pristinely clean room and excellent breakfast would definitely recommend it.
