Cedar House B&B

The room was clean but very outdated. Staff wasn't very welcoming on arrival. Not enough room in breakfast room at breakfast so was asked to have in our room. Front door is difficult to open, left waiting outside at night until staff could open it. Kettle was full of limescale. Wouldn't stay again.

Excellent. Couldn't fault the place. Lovely owner. Food delicious. Ideal central situation but quiet and peaceful. The windows opened( a rare thing at a hotel/ b nd b) for fresh air and early morning birdsong. Wonderful

Friendly staff, great service, clean room with a good shower. A short walk from some good restaurants - Stones, in particular, was fantastic.

great breakfast, bathrobes in the room and complimentary kitkats! but toilet roll had not been replaced and we had to hunt for one. little extras like tissues and toiletries were hidden away and only found by accident. Toiletry rack in shower was rusty.

Lovely place to stay and a fantastic breakfast with plenty to keep you occupied. 20 minutes walk from Matlock bath. Great last minute getaway

Property could do with a bit of modernisation. Heating was not the best, heater rail in bathroom was not working so a little chilly.

Excellent hosts, courteous staff, fabulous breakfasts.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a good sized room with double bed, settee and a couple of chairs. En-suite bathroom no overhead shower although there was a hand shower facility fixed to the taps. Good location with private free parking. Nice breakfasts with good choice. There was a small TV with built in dvd player. Walking distance to shops and places to eat. Overall a lovely stay highly recommended.

Bed and breakfast in the Peak District. Excellent location.
