Cedar House B&B

This is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts I have visited. Spotlesslyclean. Very kind and considerate owner who cooked delicious breakfasts and even came up with remedies for my cough.

The breakfast is excellent! The room is confortable and the location is convenient.

Would I stay there again? Yes. The owners went out of their way to accommodate me in that I was given a "take away" breakfast as I needed to be off very early each day. They were both courteous and helpful.

Good location right in the centre of Matlock, close to the river and the park. Lovely friendly owner, comfortable rooms and a really good breakfast, cooked freshly for you.

How do you improve on perfection? I was made to feel warmly welcome and cannot really fault the establishment at all.Spotless room, excellent breakfast. All in all ten out of ten.

I stayed in a really nice single room. The people were really lovely and made an effort to provide me with a vegan breakfast.

Lovely place very cosy and comfortable, exceptionally clean and the breakfast was very good highly recommend Cedar Guest house

The B and B proprietor got just the right balance between making sure all was good for us and being respectful of our space and privacy: a rare skill. We don't normally do B and B because of the fuss the owners seem to feel they have to make but this experience changed our minds. Non pretentious, pleasant and all round, a great couple of nights. Very comfortable bed and a south African flavouring on the breakfast mushrooms called potato spice which was so tasty.
