Good bed good shower good price

Couldn't fault the service, very friendly. However none of the shared toilet i found had toilet paper... fair enough i could have gone to the bar and ask for some. My main issue is I woke up covered in a weird rash on my arms that i initially blamed on a reaction to something. After itching away for a week my doctor confirmed i had been eaten to death by bed bugs.

Clean tidy room. Great bar area. Friendly staff.

Cheap and cheerful. One of the nicest welcomes I've had on my travels. Great staff and couldn't be more helpful.

Great location for the centre, friendly bar steward and a good cheap stay. The only thing I can critique was the shared bathroom floor which was like a swimming pool but the hotel can't constantly watch other guests in fairness. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks

The good thing was that the TV worked, although badly placed. The shower did not work at all. There was no plug in the bathroom basin. No wardrobe in the room, but 2 hooks behind the door, 1 of which fell off during the night. A chest of drawers, the drawers of which were dusty and grubby. The passage-ways and stairs had not seen a vacuum for a long time, and were badly lit. The bed was comfortable, but the duvet cover had some suspicious looking brown stains. Although we do not drive, the entrance to the "hotel" was permanently surrounded by parked cars and vans from an adjacent motor repair shop. We expected basic, but not shabby and grubby. Would not stay there again, and would not recommend it too anyone.

Very basic hotel quite near Halifax Town Centre. It was Ok for the £29 per night I paid. Was a bit wary about finding my way out if there was a fire as lots of twists and turns within building.

The stay was lovely, got a very friendly greeting. The room was pleasant. It had a lovely view from my first floor window. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. I felt safe there as a single woman traveller. The only improvement I would make would be a mirror near a plug socket as that was awkward. Great stay. Value for money
