The Old Post Office

we arrived and was greeted by Emma the hotel manager and she as very friendly. The Hotel was ok and not the Ritz but clean and comfortable for our needs bar priced reasonable and they laid on Breakfast for our group.

Disappointing overall. Tv remote didnt work so no tv. Thin quilt for bed during winter. Sais breakfast avsilable but there wasnt. Road quite busy throughout the night so hardly any sleep. Oh well not the end of the world

Had a very enjoyable relaxing fun and comfortable stay with friends had been to a concert at The Victoria I would definitely stay there again 😊

I dont know what people are moaning about, it was a comfortable 3 night stay without any issues..TOPO

Lovely little hotel! Perfect for our short stay in Halifax. Room was really spacious and the bathroom was quite nice. Only fault was I couldn't find a hair dryer which wasn't a huge problem, other than that the room was clean, tidy and the staff were lovely.

The rooms are above a pub that is very central and close to the bus and train station and parking. At £50 for a double room I think it is good value. Our en-suite door had the handle missing on the inside so the only way to close the bathroom door was for the other person to push it closed. The walls between rooms are very thin but the bed was comfortable. For the price this hotel is perfectly fine for a night.

I didn't pay much for this room, but it turned out to be the most expensive shower Ive ever had. I booked this hotel as I was going to a concert close by. I arrived at 5pm, was booked into room 11. I showered, left went to the concert, returned and checked out at 11pm and decided to drive home. The room was basic, dirty, had cobwebs, and the whole room was not in a great condition. The entrance was down two steps and was the most unappealing entrance ever. The bathroom was cramped, I couldn't up stand up straight in the shower. Banged my head on a tiled box that stuck out over the sink. I guess you get what you pay for, but there has been very little effort made by the owners of this hotel. Think I'll stick to chain hotels in the future.

The space in the room the toilet was very small also the shower it was in cellar did not like my stay the bed was very low the mattress was very cheap

Excellent value for money with good location for the Town, Theatre and Piece Hall

The room we were given was quirky.... But covered in cobwebs random things on the wall and shower filthy! Toilet was so close to the wall you couldn’t sit on it properly, kettle didn’t switch off, no remote for TV and no mirror! However it was cheap and bed was comfy.
