Safe area. Clean unit, the nearby water is refreshing.

We liked the location, the pool, and the staff. We liked the size of our apartment and the size of the bathrooms. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was inviting after we snorkeled all day. Staff was great and very helpful! We didn’t like our room. No table lamps, no headboard (at first), tiny kitchen with no oven. Very few flat surfaces on which to place things. We ended up using a kitchen chair to hold our toiletries in the bathroom and two little tables from the balcony to hold our food. The couches were uncomfortable and except for the material, didn’t go together in style or proportions. Every faucet was corroded and therefore dirty looking. I could only access WiFi from half of the apartment and it was slow or sometimes just off altogether. The hotel was pirating their WiFi.

I booked a room for my wife and I and another room for another couple vacationing with us but arriving at a different time due to flights. They arrived first. there was noone in the office, office was a tiny sign next to a door, impossible to see from the street. sign said push the ring doorbell and someone will come. noone ever came to help them. When my wife and I arrived, we had the exact same experience but much more difficult because it was after dark. Hotel says 24 hour check in.....but that's not true....noone even there to check you in. Our friends greeted a maid cleaning one of the condos....she asked if they were staying...they said yes...she said she didn't know where the office person was but since they were waiting, she cleaned a room and let them in. Luckily my friends both speak excellent spanish to explain to housekeeper the situation. A few hours later when my wife and I arrived. there was still no office staff and they didn't answer the doorbell. I tried to call and the phone number didn't work. I tried to online message and got no answer. the office door was cracked open a bit so we found a key to a room and luckily it was clean and noone was in it. So at least we didn't have to stay outside.....I've never had a worse experience trying to simply check in!

The property is rundown, there is construction next door. They also were working right above our room and dropping construction debris into the pool

It is basic, condo like property. There is a pool, you can borrow kayaks free of charge to explore lagoon. Located in the gated community, very safe. It is a short walk to the town center.

Cute location and very reasonable. Very clean pool. The aventuras community was very enjoyable with lots of restaurants, shops, bars, and Aquarium with dolphins, seals, and stingrays.

Large room with kitchenette and shower . an open patio which leads to swimming pool. Ask for You are a little way from the main areas shops restaurants etc about 10 mins walk. That can be a hot walk!!! does not have its own beach area so you pay for umbrella etc in other public areas There are most amenities dive shops. car hire. The areas are clean and well kept. You feel safe with lots of security personal. Ita a whole gated comunity. Don't forget to go to the cenotes for diving a must do. You could spend time with dolphins sea lions in a large penned area. But we don't particularly like this as an amusement.
