Puerto Aventura is a beautiful community perfectly located between Playa de Carmen and Tulum with lots of restaurants and nice beaches, a wonderful discovery, a place that you want to go back .to.

This property is located in the beautiful community of Puerto Aventuras. This is a gated mostly expat community which is very safe. We took an airport transfer from Cancun to this property. Check in was simple although the person working did not speak any English and gave me a cell phone where I spoke to the manager (Saul) who gave us assurances that we were good to go. We stayed for two days before transferring to an All Inclusive. The room was spacious and clean, the pool is amazing and clean and the only complaint we had is that the TV did not have any channels for the duration. We didn't care as we weren't there to watch TV and we also didn't mention it to anyone. At the end of our stay we needed to go 5 min down the road to the AI and after a few failed attempts to call a taxi which never showed up, Saul drove us there, which was very nice of him. We would stay here again for sure. The only suggestion I have is some sort of pamphlet that has suggestions for folks that are visiting. Luckily we have been to this area before and knew where to go for everything. But if you don't know the area, it's a bit of a walk to get to the restaurant area etc. They could also benefit from renting out half carts for reasonable rate and by the hour. A golf cart rental in town for 24 hrs is around 45usd which is pretty high in my opinion, especially since I would not want it for 24 hrs and may just need it to grab some groceries. Overall a great place and would return again.

Only stayed one night but was uncomfortable. The bed was rock hard.

Lovely small hotel in a very peaceful neighbourhood. Room was large and airy (including balcony), shower powerful, air conditioning efficient and bed very comfortable - perfect!. Staff were friendly and efficient and Saul, especially, was very helpful, both by email before arrival and during check-in. Everything for basic self catering was provided but you would need transport or a taxi if carrying the weekly shop - we just liked having the kitchen for tea, coffee and snacks though. Highly recommend.

Nice room, spacious and clean, nice little shared pool, simple kitchen and there is a supermarket across the highway to buy supplies (local minimarket was not adequate for more than beer) Easy to find once you get a map on the main gate. ~The area is very built up and busy and the beach isn't very nice. You can walk everywhere in Puerta Aventuras The whole area feel like Miami. Manager was very nice and friendly. Avoid the dolphin or Manatee Experience - can you imagine 10+ years being pawed at by Tourists every day -set the poor fish free!

Saul was excellent!the staff was Great !I felt Very safe in Puerto Aventeras!the Restaurant were amazing and Cheap!!I would go back in a heartbeat!

The rooms and smell of the room was very underwhelming. Manager was very nice. Wifi did not work in the condo and the there was only 1 TV in the condo and that was in the master bedroom. It did not have a remote to work the cable.

The manager Saul went above and beyond to accommodate is especially not having a clue where to eat or go around town. It's not his job but was friendly and even gave us a lift to a nearby restaurant . That alone made the trip worth while

I went to work over there in some cave training in the Cenotes, so I only was in the hotel at nights to relax and rest. Very quiet what I appreciated, and in a great area with a lot of quite ideal for family restaurants. The room had a few cosmetic issues with the TV set up. Free Wifi could have been better. My Windows tablet could reach Internet not very fast, but consistently, but my Android Phone only randomly on the day even after resets, etc. There was some compatibility issues that I didn't experiment anywhere else. There was a cool pool area in the hotel, and a nice beach within 100 meters, but I never had a chance to go. You may need a car, rent a bike, or one of these golf carts in Puerto Aventuras.
