The only positive aspect of this stay was the location. The property is surrounded by nice greenery and is conveniently situated within a 10-minute drive of downtown Helen.

We stayed in Cabin 22, and it was an absolute nightmare. The entire cabin had a powerful, overwhelming odor of dog urine that made my children physically sick. The sofa was completely unsanitary, covered in visible wet stains, and smelled terrible. To make matters worse, the cabin was infested with bugs, and we even discovered a dead scorpion inside the property near the balcony door. The environment was so hostile and terrifying that my 4-year-old was too scared to go near the furniture or beds, forcing me to hold her and sleep sitting up in a chair for most of the night. Furthermore, the online listing is highly misleading. It seems all of the photos on the website were captured when the property was first built because Cabin 22 looks completely run-down and nothing like those pictures today. I cannot speak for the other cabins on the property, but this specific unit delivered a severely sub-standard experience that completely ruined our family vacation and my wife's birthday celebration.

The carpets in the rooms could use a refresh. But overall everything was clean and so very welcoming!
