"Think twice before booking"

2.0

Awful experience. The owner completely misrepresents what he is selling. Stayed the the hotel has parking facilities, had to park 10 minutes away in a public chargeable car park. We booked a family room, three people, got a double small room with a damaged folding bed for our son, which was impossible to sleep in. Shared bathroom and toilet with two other guest rooms, which wasn't obvious from the advert, and can be used by anyone visiting the pub downstairs as no locks on doors. Filthy carpets, cushions and bed cover. Food very overpriced. Presented as three star hotel but doesn't qualify even for one. The only positive thing is the beautiful location of the little village and the friendly staff. Landlord has no notion of the ' customer is always right' concept. We were obliged to stay there because it was too late to leave and find an alternative place to stay overnight. Would never return and feel sorry for anyone who ever stays there.

"Fishing village."

8.0

This is hard to rate. It is great if you are looking for an authentic cultural experience in a small English fishing village. You do not want to stay here if you're looking for amenities like parking, wifi, etc. It is difficult to find Cadgwith and requires driving down some very narrow roads. To be fair, the Inn is for walkers along the coastal trails and not for vehicle travelers.

"Fantastic location and staff"

Pluses: location, staff Minuses: The rooms were way too small. No wardrobe. We found the bed uncomfortable and the restaurant and bar overpriced.

"Superb Location"

10.0

This is a storybook location, a beautiful little fishing village tucked away in a time warp on the Cornish coast. If you can't relax here then you won't relax anywhere. After a fantastic meal of fresh seafood (landed on the day 50 feet away from the pub) the evening was rounded of in the bar singing songs with some of the locals-brilliant!

"Great pub been coming for years"

Refurbished rooms and booked ensuite which was fab. Great breakfast and staff welcoming. Very busy Friday nights and one bar now a restaurant so book a table or you won't get a seat. Will be back for our 40 year reunion!
