"Back to Childhood"

10.0

Cadgwith was the scene of many of my childhood holidays. 55 years on, it really hasnt changed. Hotel is the centre of the village. A must for tired minds!

"Warm and welcoming Cadgwith Cove Inn"

8.0

The beautiful cornish fishing village of Cadgwith is situated across the road from the beach where fishermen bring in a fresh catch daily. When you arrive, drop your bags at the Inn and then park in the local car park. It is a downhill walk on a grassy path approximately 3 minutes walk with gorgeous views to the village. All the staff at the Inn were friendly and very helpful. The room was a small en-suite with a beautiful view of the cove with a hanging rail on the back of the door for clothes and two bedside cabinets. The bed was comfortable but only 4ft 6" or a small double. Breakfast and dinner were well cooked and tasty on the three days we were there. There is nowhere else to eat in the evening if you don't want to drive so the bar and the restaurant are usually very busy. The open mike Folk evening was brilliant with the locals leading but other visitors starting to sing too.

"Proper pub in a real fishing village"

Great meal, super service despite pub being rammed. Enjoyable folk evening in the bar. Great place to stay if you're walking the coastal path.

"Great experience "

Wonderful area to explore. Very friendly staff who included a delicious breakfast within the room price. Stayed in a very clean room, however bunk bed was creaky and noisy. Overall, very impressed and pleased with clean environment and friendly people.

"Warm and comfortable."

8.0

Enjoyed a very pleasant weekend of three nights in this most enchanting spot. The only thing that could have spoiled it was the inclement weather but even that couldn't diminish the beauty of this unspoiled location.

"Cadgwith is a hidden gem ! "

8.0

I've been acquainted with Cadgwith for the last 23 years and visit at least once a year. The Cove Inn has taken on a new lease of life with seriously upgraded accommodation including very comfortable beds and a very slick food operation. The beers are excellent and Gary & Helen are very friendly, obliging hosts who take great pride in their business and every care of customers. We didn't have a main meal there this time but our breakfast poached haddock and eggs was out of this world. Full marks also to Nettie their long-term house-keeper and her team for kerping the rooms spotless !

"What a little gem!"

10.0

The most amazing little Inn set in the heart of the prettiest fishing village - the owners are lovely and very accommodating, room was perfect with a little window seat with a view out to sea! Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Cornwall!
