Ramada Encore by Wyndham Belconnen Canberra

General down-market experience. Unappealing very basic room in need of major refurbishment. Chosen for proximity to a particular venue over usual hotels in Canberra. On reflection should have stuck to the tried & tested CBD hotels. Only positive to remark on was the consideration of the young man in reception arranging an early check-in to our room to freshen up for a mid-afternoon wedding we were attending. Thank you for that.

The site is showing its age, but there are renovations occurring so it's not so bad and should improve as that progresses. Hopefully there will be more hanging rails in the bathroom for towels. The bathroom was good for wheelchair bound or disabled people. It's a quiet location and a short walk to the food market where you'll find a variety of cafes.

Check in was very efficient. Market close by was very convenient. Noise from construction was not an issue as we stayed Fri night. Hotel upgraded our rooms which were very clean, spacious and large bathroom. Particularly appreciated the blanket as we swapped doona for blanket which made for a great night's sleep. Complimentary fruit bowl was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

The best hotel/motel experience in Canberra/ACT/Goulburn. A television which works. A quiet night's sleep.

Location is good. No hotel facilities info provided Very basic provisions. Better attention to cleaning and dusting needed. Toilet is placed awkwardly next to the bench so you needed to sit at an angle! Weird

Really large rooms and generous provision of water and coffee etc

Close proximity of the hotel to Belconnen's urban centre and shops was great. We would strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here in the future!
