The bedrooms were located behind the pub which meant it was quiet despite the pub being located beside a busy road. Rooms were spacious and homely. Clean adequate bathroom. Hospitality tray with choice of tea, coffee etc and some biscs. Food was traditional pub grub . The breakfast was delicious.

Despite overlooking a picturesque large pond and having a large outdoor seating area with nice planting it was very noisy due to the traffic on the busy road. Didn’t seem to bother most folk though - it was rammed with people enjoying a drink in the sunshine.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great - lovely to be near the ponds, a lovely park and a small street of shops.

It is a shame the outside dinning area is right on the road.

Great location with easy access to the railway station and the town. Clean, comfortable room with plenty of space.

Disappointing check in and check out; not warm or welcoming. Main bar / reception needs freshening up.

Quaint. Restaurant staff were friendly enough. Gave us a glasses of bubbly on arrival as it was our wedding anniversary.

We paid for bed and breakfast. Couldn’t make breakfast as we had to leave. Didn’t even offer us compensation or a refund for the breakfast that we couldn’t attend. Restaurant was expensive.

Owners were very helpful and friendly, large room with very comfortable bed. Location was very convenient for my needs.
