GBWe were there for a wedding reception. The food was superb. The chef joined us for a friendly chat and a mingle. What a lovely chap! We had a relaxing drink in the bar after our arrival and were impressed with the vibe of the place.

GBThe bedrooms were located behind the pub which meant it was quiet despite the pub being located beside a busy road. Rooms were spacious and homely. Clean adequate bathroom. Hospitality tray with choice of tea, coffee etc and some biscs. Food was traditional pub grub . The breakfast was delicious.
Despite overlooking a picturesque large pond and having a large outdoor seating area with nice planting it was very noisy due to the traffic on the busy road. Didn’t seem to bother most folk though - it was rammed with people enjoying a drink in the sunshine.
