Avra Imperial Hotel

The property is beautiful and very clean. Staff is helpful, kind and love children. The childrens area was a good space. We spent most of the time by the main pool which had a grassy area with plenty of shade which made it easier for baby to play safely. This hotel is perfect for families.

We liked the kids club. We liked the pools and spa options. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Very polite, smiling and prompt.

What a beautiful place with superb service! We will return!

Absent service. False advertising. Only a 3 Star property. I’m amazed that anyone says it’s above 4 stars. Our friends staying there said exactly the same. Very little luxury. If you don’t care about luxury and just want an average huge hotel, this is for you.

A great hotel

I can’t say enough about how spectacular our recent stay was. We were a group of 9 people ranging from all ages and we all had a great time. The pools, the food, the rooms. All were super. Can’t wait to return next year.

Great hotel with terrific Spa/pools and Hammam. The room was modern, tidy and comfortable with a great balcony. The Cretan Reataurant was AMAZING for both breakfast and dinner and Elli and Lefterie provided incredible service and beach recommendations and other local knowledge to make our stay incredible. The hotel was amazing with fantastic amenities, a good selection of places to eat on site and a wonderful spa. The location of the hotel is very peaceful a few minutes walk to a quiet stoney beach and only five minutes walk to some local tavernas offering some local delicacies. We will return soon and was a wonderful stay.

Simply amazing! The property, the staff, the pool and the location were superb. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really nice. It's a modern contemporary design, with minimalist features throughout. The price of food is reasonable, though more expensive than what you would find outside in the tavernas. The quality of the buffets was excellent. They have many pools to choose from. Two children's pools. They claim they were heated, but I was expecting something closer to 32c in that case. Anyway, it was pleasant. We will be back to this place for sure! The beach is well serviced, with a minimal amount of sand to play in, however. Still it's a nice beach. A drive to Chania is not very far at all, maybe about 25min or 30min.
