Lemon Tree Hotel, Chandigarh

My stay at The Lemon Tree in Chandigarh on Friday 15 November was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean, check in/out was easy and the cafe was clean and efficient. The check out person ( sorry don't remember his name ) was very helpful and pleasant.

The most horrible experience I have ever had with any property in India. Very unprofessional and discourteous staff. Specially the front office manager.

Good value, not super plush but comfortable. A decent place to stay , very good value for money

Good location but front desk staff did not know English. The saving grace was the dining room: chef whose service and staff were both excellent and the food great. Room was comfortable and bathroom very clean and well set out. Lounge area was poor and tacky unfortunately and inefficiently serviced. They could not even help me to book tours or tell me highlights we could visit during our very short stay.

Value for money, practical for business visitor

Rooms could be cleaner and this lemon tree doesnt match the one at Hyderabad. Standards are certainly low with interiors and decor. Staff and service was very prompt and friendly.

Unexpected fees were charged to us upon check out

For excellent value for money, the property needs to improve the rooms or at least reduce the tariff by 20%.

Location is good. Walking distance from Elante mall. So shopping and dining options available nearby. Room was good, neat and clean. Food could have been better. Ordered Chicken burger and Chocolate milkshake by room service. Burger was okish.. Milkshake had too much sugar, was not able to finish my milkshake..Breakfast spread was decent. Chck in, Check out was smooth. Overall good budget stay.
