Berawa Beach Residence

I missed not having hot water in the bathroom sink. Hotel was not near anything. Always had a 20-60 minute cab drive everywhere.

The hotel itself is nice, they did not offer everything in the room information booklet like kettle for tea and coffee but would make a coffee if asked. It is a fifteen minute walk to the beach and if staying more than a couple of days you would want to hire a motor bike. On the other hand I liked the quiet and the little village and also swimming in the sea which few, other than surfers' did. The staff were very friendly and there is a lovely spa around the corner and some very cheap delicious food available close by which the hotel will bring in for you if you don't want to go there at night.

We booked the room for 2 days, and ended up staying 6. It was good value for the money. They got at least 4 different type of rooms, and we stayed at the larger one with 2 kids. You probably need a motorbike or similar, since it's about 15-20 min walk to the beach (we did not have that). We ate a lot of food at the local warungs, and breakfast is served at the hotel. When you drive in to the area, it looks really bad, but when you arrive the hotel is really clean and good. Even if the area is a bit dirty and shabby, it feels really safe to walk anywhere.

Really nice Accomodation. Wifi, pool, air con and friendly service. Cab ride or scooter needed for beach or food.

You will be best to have your own car or scooter but this place is so peaceful and very comfortable. The nearby beaches are full of surfers and really hip and trendy. After the madness of kuta or seminyak I really would rather stay here next times come.

An up and coming area. Don't let the duet track road put you off. The residence is very stylish and tastefully done. The bedrooms are vey spacious and comfortable with bedroom and living area.The staff are super friendly. You will benefit from having your own transport as it is about 20 minutes from seminyak. The residence can provide a shuttle service from the airport but mopeds are a great way to get around. The beaches around Berawa and canggu are big surfer spots and there are lots of cool cafes, restaurants and new developments popping up. I really can not fault this place. My husband and I were on honeymoon and this was our first stop on a trip round Indonesia. Loved it.

Very nice rooms, location still developing.

This hotel is a little further from the action than we anticipated, and, at the beginning of our week long stay, was difficult to locate at times (we rented a scooter). The staff at the front desk were pleasant but not overly helpful, informative or friendly.

Apartment looked great, but air con was rubbish; wi-fi did not work in room; no spare electric sockets; breakfast was appalling; swimming pool too small; remote location at least 20 mins walk to the beach. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
