3HB Guarana - All Inclusive

We had a super stay at this hotel (2 adults, 5yr and 1yr) where we booked the interconnecting rooms. Rooms were clean and tidied daily. The facilities are super and food couldn't be faulted. There is lots on offer for the kids and especially the kids disco was a big hit! The pools are not heated so definitely in for a refreshing dive! There are beautiful local beaches on walking distance and the cities of Vilamoura and Albufeira are 20 minutes away. Use Uber the get around!

We’ve just returned from 10 days at 3HB Guaraná and were really impressed. The photos don’t do the grounds justice — the gardens, pools and lobby feel lush, modern and well maintained. The hotel is immaculately clean. Floors were constantly being mopped and areas tidied, and the whole resort felt spotless and hygienic throughout our stay. It’s an excellent hotel for families. Our 4-year-old loved the pirate play park, splash park, face painting and kids club — there was always something to do. Food was a highlight. The buffet had a good selection (occasionally a little cool), and the Mediterranean and Oriental restaurants were excellent. The BBQ meats and sushi stood out, and restaurant service was above and beyond — staff were consistently friendly and attentive and very accommodating with gluten-free options. The late-night snack bar was great for supper for the kids. Evening entertainment was enjoyable but a little repetitive. We visited in April, so it may expand in peak season. The location is ideal if you want to be away from crowds but still close to explore. It’s a 5-minute walk to a beach with shops and restaurants overlooking the water, and taxis to Albufeira Old Town were easy. The room was spacious and comfortable with a super king bed and large TV. The air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay, likely due to the time of year. Overall, a fantastic family holiday and we would happily return

This place was amazing., very clean, food lovely, rooms couldn't fault everything spot on definitely stay there again.

This is not a hotel that we would choose as a couple, but for a family of nine, six adults and three children it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower although over the bath was fine. The choice of food was excellent, I personally love a healthy Mediterranean diet and the selection of salads was good. I must mention the oriental restaurant if you like sushi, this is definitely the place for you,it was fabulous. We aren’t massively into the entertainment, but we joined in the quizzes and danced to the music

Very impressed with this hotel. Lovely decor, friendly staff, very clean and great food and drinks (better than some all inclusives I have paid significantly more for). Plenty of variation and choice at meal times and the Mediterranean restaurant was a highlight. Good variation of entertainment for all ages. Easy to walk to the beach on the road if the walkway isn’t suitable and Ubers to Albufeira or the mall are easy to arrange and very reasonable. Will certainly return.

Arrived here late evening and into a very nice and very large comfortable reception. After a quick check in we were shown down to the restaurant for dinner. Within an hour or so of arrival we were very impressed with the hotel. Room on 2nd floor was nice and spacious and bed comfortable. Maid service daily. We were here for 11 nights leading up to Easter weekend and blessed with warm sunshine every day. Very impressed with the 2 outdoors pools, one of which was huge, plenty of activities on daily with a nice atmosphere and good music. The smaller pool was also nice, more relaxed and water ok for swimming even in March. Also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. No problems getting seated in the restaurant, however the hotel got busier each day and I imagine it would be packed for the Easter holidays. Food was very nice, but sometimes not very warm. Only a 5 minute stroll from hotel takes you to the top of the cliff paths above the wonderful Falesia beach, one of the nicest in the Algarve. All in all this is a wonderful hotel, spotless throughout with hard working, friendly staff in all departments. Thanks Guarana, hope to return sometime soon.

We recently stayed for four nights and had an overall enjoyable holiday, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved. Starting with the negatives: Check‑in was extremely slow, with a long queue that set a frustrating tone for the first day. We also tried to book the Asian and Mediterranean restaurants as soon as we arrived, only to be told that both were fully booked for the entire duration of our stay, which was disappointing. The main buffet restaurant had long queues as well, and it wasn’t clear why we needed to wait so long just to give our room number when we were already wearing all‑inclusive wristbands. Even the entertainment bar had queues for drinks most evenings, which took away from the experience a little. On the positive side: The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Our room was comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard every day. Food and drinks across the resort were generally very good, with plenty of choice and good quality. The location itself is lovely, and Olhos D’Água is a charming little resort that we really enjoyed exploring — we’d definitely recommend the area.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday in Hotel Guarana and cannot fault anything about the hotel or staff. The staff are so helpful and friendly and nothing is too much. The rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean. Simone went over and above with the towel art! The food is excellent and the best we’ve had in an all inclusive hotel. There was lots of freshly cooked food at each meal and plenty of choice. The weather didn’t lend itself to sitting outside so the restaurant was busy but the staff coped really well and always with a smile. The main restaurant and the snack bar were both kept very clean. We celebrated a special wedding anniversary while we were there and the management were so kind in organising flowers and fizz for us and made it extra special which we were so grateful for. After a fabulous holiday we will definitely be returning to Hotel Guarana in the near future
