Bay Retreat Villas

The house was excellent. Well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Finding the house was difficult in the light but was almost impossible in the dark. Luckily my niece had stayed in one in that close before. Opening the key box is difficult too.

Villa was spacious

Telly didn’t work properly ie was flickering and unwatchable. Took too days before it was conceded that the telly was faulty. Replacement tv was not a smart tv, unlike the first one and it randomly switched itself on. Twice we had to get up in the middle of the night to switch it off. Most of all, we really did not like the location. It was in the middle of no where. No bus service at all. Had to drive everywhere. No local shop within walking distance. The pub was like a working man’s club- not inviting. The whole location had a feeling of desolation. Weird and felt like a ghost town.

Crockery n cutlery were not clean. Laundry was torn n some had stains

The property was very clean and thoughtfully equiped to facilitate a good stay.

Better directions to the property, perhaps pin a location.

Very well appointed villa, with everything you needed to make the stay enjoyable. Plenty of room for a family and any dogs staying on the properties were well catered for with an excellent exercise field, which was regularly mowed, so even wet weather wouldn't have been a problem.

Unfortunately, if you have to use the bed settee the sprung mattresses could do with updating and were uncomfortable, especially for the mature visitor (aka Grand parents!). As a relaxing sofa it was lovely!
