Great location, even better service. However, food options are limited and a bit pricy.

The hotel is very nice and the pool is great! The rooms are comfortable and the water pressure in our shower was crazy! No low flow here. The parking is a bit ridiculous in price, you are not in a city!! The resort fee is another add on, which only gave you access to the pool for all I could tell. There were not any other tennis courts or other things that I saw. The pool is nice but not "resort fee" nice in my opinion. The staff were attentive and very helpful when we interacted with them. The restaurant had good food, but our particular server was not the best. There were others that were taking good care of their tables, so I think it was a one guy thing... vacation prices for everything. The beach is across the highway and it is more of a surf beach not really a hang out type beach but it was nice for sunsets and a little walking on the beach. I would stay here again maybe... If I were down this way again.

Beautiful spa hotel just across the street from the ocean. Worth the extra for an ocean view room. Staff was super friendly and very clean hotel, close to Coaster train and Bus so don’t have to have a car. Restaurant was top notch with excellent desserts. Pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Everything about my stay was good. My Only complaint was I requested an upgrade but my room looked right into the neighbors room. Which prevented me from enjoying the beautiful ocean view. But other than that, great hotel, very nice staff, and beautiful location. I will stay here again in the future

This is such an amazing hotel. The location is really nice. It features great views of the ocean. The staff is really helpful and awesome to work with. Kevin was really helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommended this hotel to anyone. It’s a great spot for relaxing and the bar is really nice as well.

This is a great resort/hotel/spa in beautiful Carlsbad. Just close enough to town but just far enough away to provide a quiet, relaxing stay. Get the upgraded rooms with a balcony and ocean/sunset views - it's worth it! We enjoyed Chandler's Restaurant on the property as well!

First night I sat on patio to watch sunset. The waiter finally acknowledged me. Breakfast same experience, no hello from busers or acknowledging that I was there. It was 9:45am in the morning, I noticed waiters talking in corner after a while he finally came and took my order. The service wasn't great, it was okay. The lady in the gift shop was amazing and I did give her my poker chip. While I sat on patio at the fire pit, I over heard other guest stating same thing I was writing about. They say at table for 15 mins, no acknowledgement. One of ladies finally went to the bar on her own to grab drinks. The waitress informed her that she was sitting in her station and what was she doing.
