"Excellent"

Wonderful stay at 23 LoveLane. Staffs were friendly and yet able to give us the space despite the not-so-big premise. The outdoor garden was nice to laze around. Buffet breakfast and afternoon tea was a nice touch, homely style. We should have called ahead to check as during our visit, some renovation/painting work were being carried out and triggered my wife's sinus.

Lovely colonial style accommodation with many fine touches. Perfect place for our family. It was homely and very comfortable. Close to everything. Staff service brilliant. Thanks for a great stay. We will surely be back.

"Love Lane's lovely heritage boutique hotel"

23 Love Lane was the perfect choice for a quick Penang getaway weekend. The charming, perfectly restored heritage home is a convenient walk to all the tourist sites and best street food and fine dining restaurants in George Town. Our stay included a well-curated full breakfast and afternoon tea. The staff was efficient and extremely friendly and helpful.

Very big space for 6 pax. Just mosquitoes which is typical of any tropical location so what to burn the mozzie coil. Comfortable overall.

"23 Love Lane"

I recommend staying here. The place is comfortable and has bags of character. The location is also good with restaurants, bars and some of Georgetown's attractions close by.

"George Town charm"

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Lovelane. Management and staff were generous and accommodating. The hotel is spread out in a cluster of old buildings overlooking a courtyard. Lots of local charm and art. The location is perfect for exploring the old quarters. Also, the breakfast is copious, varied and in a nice setting. We highly recommend this location.

"Exceptional"

This is a charming hotel in a renovated old-style house. It has a great location- it’s around a 7-10 minute walk to the main tourist area but is in a quiet neighborhood itself. They have afternoon tea everyday, which is perfect for escaping the heat. The staff are incredibly friendly. The day I left happened to be my birthday and they met me at checkout with a small cake from a local bakery. I was shocked! But that’s indicative of the level of service they give. Highly recommended!
