The hotel was an oasis. You walked in and were met by gracious staff that took you to rooms that were both unique and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. There was an shared veranda, garden and library where one could sit and enjoy the sounds of birds singing while drinking delicious coffee. The breakfast was free and very good and an afternoon tea was set daily. The artwork around the hotel had been selected by someone with a great eye for art and the furnishings were eclectic with a purposeful placement for both function and beauty. The hotel is centrally located along a historic street with nightly music, food and beverages. This hotel is an experience in itself and our group of four was sad to leave.

This place is beautiful exactly like the photos, it’s also really quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place especially if you are wanting to stay in a genuine heritage listed building.

I like the old decoration and it gives me a warm heart feeling. The staffs are so helpfull with a friendly smile. In summary, it is a perfect place to stay in Georgetown. Give it a try !

Beautifully restored heritage house creating the right ambience. Huge rooms and bathrooms, plenty of space to lounge around. Conveniently located within short walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel staffs are friendly and awesome. Inside room's floormap look old and dirty. Need some inprovement to the room so it look clean organize.

The staff is very friendly & helpful. Check in was a Breeze. The first night was tough as the bedsheet was not clean but the friendly staff had it replaced the next day. Like the scented candles that the lit after the room service. Breakfast is not appetising and we prefer the local breakfast that are located around & within walking distance. Garden need to be landscape as it has the basic nostalgic greenery.

It's a nice heritage hotel in the center of George Town close to the Blue Mansion and other tourist attractions. With its court yard the hotel is a little oasis and very quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is gorgeous, the grounds have been lovingly maintained and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Will definately make this my base in Penang for future visits

Charming and authentic hotel in George Town. The rooms are massive; lots of space in the bathroom! They have afternoon tea between 430 and 6pm which includes various teas and a selection of savoury and sweet snacks - all complimentary! Staff are so helpful and lovely. Would really recommend this hotel.

Great location. The rooms are big and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants, street food carts and local art in the area.
