Sudamala Resort, Sanur, Bali

Very traditional welcome and friendly effective service throughout our stay. Restaurant food was great quality and good value. Resort is well located with good proximity to other eateries and shops. Short walk to beach front. Beautifully kept gardens and resort grounds.

Lovely hotel, great sized swimable pool. Rooms are comfortable , clean, cool, and reflective of site photos. Nice daily turn down service. Very good breakfast with a lovely ambience. Minor hiccups were addressed and satisfactorily solved. All staff we encountered were pleasant efficient and helpful. A stunning art sculpture gallery exists in and around the hotel. A good pop market most Saturday afternoon is provided. Good location at the more traditional end of Sanur, close to beach, close to an excellent Yoga studio Power of now oasis. Close to lots of eateries and bars. Taxi ride for approx £2.50 to the other end Sidhu and Icon, or can be walked to in approx 25mins, along the beach, on comfortable safe walking and cycling pathway. Have stayed on at least 3 other occasions over the space of 5years and consistency of all above points above has been maintained.

We spent at Sudamala Resort the final four nights of an energetic Indonesian tour, and it was a delightful and tranquil experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a traditional atmosphere, while the modern services were fine. The whole place had a calm and attractive feel, with interesting ornaments, colourful plants and squirrels darting around. The restaurant featured a generous breakfast, and excellent quality meals at all times of day, with both local and western dishes beautifully presented. Above all, the staff, whether at reception, at table or room service, were unfailingly kind, courteous, helpful and friendly.

Everything, the pool access room was amazing, the staff went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious. Facilities were great, only a short walk to everything you need.

Das Personal war (selbst für balinesische Verhältnisse) unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Hotel war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Das Frühstück (a la carte) und das Abendessen waren hervorragend und der Pool und die gesamte Anlage sehr schön angelegt. Einziges Manko: Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Ansonsten war alles ganz wunderbar!
