Le personnel de l’établissement est toujours disponible, nous nous sommes senties vraiment à la maison. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et la vue depuis la piscine époustouflante.

Das Gebäude hat einen sehr schönen Flair und das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sauber. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einmalig. Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Im Bad hat es Schimmel bei den Silikondichtungen. Auch die Wände im Zimmer haben Anzeichen für Schimmel. Die Lage ist nicht ganz ideal, da das Hotel an der Zufahrtsstrasse einer Favela liegt.

The staff were very attentive and spoke English which helped us so much. The room number 2 had a great view with a sunny balcony and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and pool bar on the upper level, although there were a lot of steep steps to get to it, was worth the effort as the view across Rio was amazing. The breakfast was very good, omelette, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, breads, cakes were all good.

Some Taxi drivers were not keen to take you up the very steep long hill to the hotel which can be a huge problem so make sure you have it agreed with the taxi drive before taking your ride as we had to pull our luggage up the hill. Also if you have any difficulty in walking up steep stairs then perhaps this is not the hotel for you. However, if you can climb stairs the hotel, staff and facilities are worth the effort, we had 4 nights and loved it.

The staff could not be nicer and were very helpful with recommendations in the area. We felt safe in the area and it was close to the beach along with lots of bars and restaurants. The pool was also lovely and quiet during the day with an amazing view out to the sea and sugarloaf.
