No air con. Food selection was very bad as out of stock. Don't supply coke . Breakfast only T 8 am when people already at work

"Spent a few years living in Barton as a child. It was great to see it again with adult eyes 50+ years later."

Good location in the centre, great breakfasts, well appointed room, extra wide bed very comfortable.

Wrens kitchens UK depot is not far away so there were more than a few large, empty lorries rattling their way past The George back to base both early in the morning and late at night. Nothing wrong with The George though !!!

Excellent rooms and staff , fantastic breakfast, we were given early check in as we were attending a wedding at 2pm and check in should have been 3pm we had our room at 11:30 so plenty of time to get ready

I ate a hearty freshly cooked full English. It was very good. A very good pub atmosphere. The building still retained old world charm
