"Ideal, dog friendly stopover with a great host"

Ideal stop-off south England to north Scotland. Very pet friendly, great host, good dog walk almost right outside, 2 mins to George and Dragon pub (dog friendly, great food).

"Perfect stopover on way to north of Scotland"

Lovely room in a beautiful old house overlooking a field and very well located half way to Highlands. Owner was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options including fruit, yoghurt etc.

Only thing is some traffic noise but good double glazing takes care of it with windows shut.

Lovely building in nice grounds. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast! Very dog and child friendly

We only stayed one night so don't have anything bad to say
