Homely, nice staff, good breakfast. Value for money and close enough to get to Kendal Calling in a car.

An old property with low beams so for very tall people, having to duck down a lot. I realise characterful properties are quaint but thought I’d mention it.

This was a really great place to spend the night on my way home. The room and bathroom were lovely. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Dog friendly. Great location to get on and off the motorway. It was still quite quiet though.
